Westminster City Council has launched a public consultation on the health and wellbeing strategy for Westminster for the next five years.

The proposed strategy will inform health and social care priorities and spending by Westminster City Council and the Central and West London Clinical Commissioning Groups from 2017 to 2022 to enable all people in Westminster to be well, stay well and live well.

The proposals are based on local health needs which are specific to the City of Westminster and focus on prevention and early intervention. This is your opportunity to have your say and shape the future of health and social care in your area.

Take a look at the proposals and send your feedback at www.westminster.gov.uk/your-health by 16 October 2016.

Help Shape the Hammersmith and Fulham Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy

New H&F logoHealthwatchhammersmith-and-fulham-ccg-col-webOver the past six months, the Hammersmith and Fulham Health and Wellbeing Board has undertaken a review of local needs and hosted conversations with members of the public, staff from local authority, NHS organisations, voluntary and community sector representatives.

The new draft Health and Wellbeing strategy* they have produced aims to develop a more effective and responsive local health and care system.

You can view the draft strategy here and take part in the consultation on the strategy at:
http://healthwatchcwl.co.uk/2016/07/want-help-shape-hammersmith-fulham-joint-health-wellbeing-strategy/

The consultation will run for 14 weeks, ending on Tuesday 18 October 2016.

*Joint health and wellbeing strategies enable local councillors, GPs and directors of public health, adult and children’s services to work with communities in leading a more effective and responsive local health and care system. They sit at the heart of local commissioning decisions, underpinning improved health, social care and public health outcomes for Hammersmith & Fulham.
