K&C Carers Forum

The next K&C Carers Forum will be on Tuesday 29 May from 10:30am-1pm in Committee Room 1 at Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, W8 7NX.

There is a map to the Town hall here and a flyer for forum can be downloaded here.

A light lunch will be provided.

The agenda for meeting will be:

10:30am-10:50am: Registration

10:50am-12pm: Group will discuss:

  • Future of K&C Carer Forums
  • Terms of Reference for the Forum
  • The role of Forum Chair

12pm-12:30pm: Special guest speaker from Carefreebreaks

12:30pm: Lunch

Carers Week Health & Information Day for Kensington & Chelsea Carers

During Carers Week on Friday 15 June Carers Network will be hosting a Health and Information Day for local Kensington & Chelsea carers at Westbourne Grove Church, Westbourne Grove, W11 2RW from 2:15pm-5:15pm.

This will be an opportunity to connect to local organisations that can provide you with help and support such as

• Adult Social Care
• The NHS
• People First
• My Care My Way
• The Dalgarno Trust
• Healthier Homes, and many more …

Carers will also be able to enjoy free massage therapy sessions and a light lunch.

During the event there will be an opportunity to meet Carers Network’s Trustees.

Carers  will be able to talk to them about any feedback on the services Carers Network provides – or make suggestions on what they would like Carers Network to focus on in the future.

There will also be information workshop being run by the independent NHS complaints advocacy organisation POhWER.

This will be an opportunity to connect to local organisations that can provide you with help and support such as:

• Citizens Advice Westminster
• Healthwatch Central West London,
• The Working For Carers Project, and many more …

Carers will also be able to enjoy free massage therapy sessions and a light lunch.
