Carers Network’s Carers Week Activities and Events

Carers Network had an action-packed Carers Week 2017, which we kicked off in style on Monday 12 June with 40 carers enjoying a river cruise!

The rain stayed away and the group enjoyed the leisurely trip down river to Greenwich before disembarking to explore the market, observatory and other local attractions. They then returned to Westminster Pier – with some of the group taking advantage of their 24 hour pass and staying on board to continue exploring the River Thames .

“It was a truly wonderful day cruising down the ancient River Thames. The commentary was excellent and very informative.” Westminster Carer

“I enjoyed myself so much, sitting alone unwinding my thoughts without unravelling.” H&F Carer
