Support Groups for City Carers
Carers Network is committed to encouraging carers to gain confidence, make their own choices and support each other. Our vision is to support carers to support each other and lead their own groups. We have a number of social meetings and events, reaching an increased number of carers and empowering carers to peer support. Further information on City support groups here
The Carers Network Advice Line for City carers is open every Wednesday from 3pm to 7pm.
City Carer Support Worker Rose Bernstein will be picking up the phone, so please do call – whether it’s because you can’t make it to a support group or you’d rather talk in private, do give her a call with queries or concerns, or anything else that’s on your mind. Call Rose on: 07980 744 511
A Carers Forum is a group run by carers, for carers, with the aim of addressing issues that matter to you, and making sure your voice is being heard.
Anyone caring for someone who is resident in the City of London can come to these meetings, where you can raise issues about the quality of local services, suggest ideas for the development of new services, or take part in local consultations or strategically important meetings with City of London, HealthWatch, or the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).
Next Forum: TBC
Come along to take part and give your view on the issues the forum should address.

You can turn up there with any questions you have on the last Monday of the month between 3.30pm – 4.30pm, or just drop by for a chat with the City support worker.
