Carers Network understands the emotional impact caring can have on a person. Feelings such as stress, frustration, depression, loneliness, anxiety, anger, grief, mental fatigue and fear can arise while caring. Our trained carer support workers can provide emotional support through individual casework and carers can also support one another through our support groups.
Individual support: One-to-one meetings with support workers provide carers with the opportunity to talk through feelings and explore ways to combat negative emotions.
See our Events Calendar page for dates and times of upcoming support groups.
Advice drop-ins: We run regular advice drop-ins around the boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham, Westminster and the City of London. These are times when carers can call in to talk to a support worker about a specific issue without an appointment (please note, if you need more detailed work or a carer assessment we will book in a longer appointment after this session).
See our Events Calendar page for dates and times of upcoming advice drop-ins.
Support groups: Carers Network runs regular support groups in both Hammersmith and Fulham, Westminster and the City of London. where carers can get to know one another and share experiences and mutual support.
Alternatively, we can help you to find other local services that may be able to help.
