All carers are entitled to an assessment of their needs, this is quite separate from the assessment of the person they care for.
Carers Personal Budget
Carers Network can also help you to make an application for the Carers Personal Budget.

Carers Small Grants No Longer Available
This is the grant towards a break or an item that used to be available every 2 years. These weren’t included in the specification for the new service and we have now been informed by the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham Council that funds will not be available for the Carers Small Grants this year.
If you need financial support in your caring role please get in touch and we will do our best to help you. You may be eligible for a Carers Personal Budget (depending on your needs in a Carers Assessment), or there may be other ways we can help. Support Groups and Drop-ins for Hammersmith & Fulham Carers

This way we ‘create’ a larger number of social meetings and events, reaching an increased number of carers and empower carers to peer support.
