All of the following events and weekly sessions are designed for people with some memory loss or in the early stages of dementia, and their carers:

Wednesday 2 of March 1-3pm: (Note change of time!): Westminster Memory Café South: Arts and Crafts, Victoria Medical Centre, 29 Upper Tachbrook Street, SW1V1SN. No need to book, just turn up! For more info call Mandy on 07540 502 379

Tuesday 8 March 1.30-3.30pm: Sporting Reminiscence Session at Lord’s, free to attend but booking is essential, to book call Yvonne on 0207 616 8589, Lord’s Cricket Ground, Grace Entrance, St. John’s Wood Road

Wednesday 16 March 2pm-4pm: Discover the Wallace Collection, explore the world famous arms and armour collection through an interactive tour. Tea & coffee provided. Booking essential Call Edwina 020 7563 9577

Monday 21 March 11am – 12.30pm: In Mind session at Royal Academy of Arts, tea & coffee and conversation about art works. Burlington House, Piccadilly. Tickets £3 (free to RA Friends, carers & companions), fully booked, to go on waiting list email events.lectures@royalacademy.org.uk or call 020 7300 5839

Wednesday 23 March 1.30-4.30pm: Video & Tea @ The Liberal Jewish Synagogue -Just come along – no need to book. Soup on arrival then a DVD,  The Road to Morocco followed by a delicious tea including home-made coffee ice-cream £2

Tuesday 29 March 3pm-4.30pm: Hymns and Pimms.  For people living with dementia and those who care for them: come together to share friendship, singing and refreshment.  Grosvenor Chapel, 24 South Audley Street W1K 2PA, no need to book, just turn up! Suggested donation £4, Tel. 020 7499 1684

Thursdays, weekly, 2-4pm: Singing for the Brain®, 28 St John’s Wood Road, London NW8 7HA. Regular singing event for people who are enrolled in the group.  For more information and to apply to be a participant please contact Mary Rossiter on 020 7286 5181, or email sfb@ljs.org
