Talk and discussion focusing on exploring what the end of caring role may mean for a carer, and what you need to consider in a future when your caring role has ended.

Learn how to help in a first aid emergency
Thursday 28 July, 11am-12:30pm: Lasting Power of Attorney:
Why give someone else power of attorney over your finances and/or decisions about your health and care, what powers the attorney has, how to set up a power of attorney, what happens if you become incapable and have not set up a power of attorney.
Friday 29 July, 12pm-1:30pm: Pensions
Talk and discussion - Overview of pensions: state, personal and occupational. How much you get and when, contributions and national insurance, employers’ obligations, withdrawal of money, where to get advice and help.

Wednesday 03 August, 2pm-3:30pm: Will Writing
Talk and discussion - Why and how to make a will, what happens to your assets if you die without making a will, what a will should cover, choosing executors. Also an introduction to trusts.
Thursday 04 August, 3pm-4:30pm: Funerals - Myth busting and planning
This Funeral Workshop will give you tips about arranging cost efficient & meaningful funerals.
Friday 05 August, 11am-12:30pm: Inheritance Tax
Talk and discussion - Why and how to make a will, what happens to your assets if you die without making a will, what a will should cover, and inheritance tax plus property abroad.
