Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) invite you to come in for afternoon tea, to meet staff, to share your story or to help launch the new Carers Information leaflet.
Carers Week will take place from 6 – 12 June this year.
Carers Week is a chance to celebrate the many carers among us who do so much to support and care for others.
Throughout Carers Week, CNWL will host a series of events to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges that carers face and recognise the contribution carers make to families, health and social care services and communities throughout the UK.
CNWL invites you to attend or support the following events:
TUESDAY 7: Share Your Caring Stories:
To give their staff an insight into the realities of being a Carer they are asking Carers to write a short account of ‘A week in the Life of a Carer’ or ‘Caring in BME Communities’ that they can share with staff – please do let Karen Doherty, Head of Patient and Carer Involvement know if you would be interested in writing/recording your thoughts on one of these topics or another topic of your choosing- she is happy to work together with you on it. You could present it to staff yourself if you wish or have it video’d or read out on your behalf, They will offer a prize for any stories shared.
