Thanks to all who joined us for our fantastic Carers Action Day on 18 February. More than 75 carers were there to hear from our excellent speakers about what the Care Act will mean to them. We heard from Dame Phillippa Russell of the National Standing Committee on Carers, Liz Bruce Executive Director of Adult Social Care in the Tri-Borough and Ben Cavanagh Policy and Public Affairs Manager from Carers Trust.

If you missed the event you can catch up with what they had to say in the presentations, here.

Making our charity and life for carers even better

Carers Network’s new three year strategy launches today at Carers Action Day.

The strategy sets out the charity’s plans up to 2018 and our vision: every unpaid carer in the areas in which we operate is recognised and leads a healthy fulfilling life with control over their caring role.

Thank you to all the carers and staff who helped us to shape our strategy and we look forward to working with you all to achieve our vision over the next three years.
