The People First website offers information and advice on behalf of the Adult Social Care teams for the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and Westminster City Council.

The site includes over 200 information pages on adult social care and related issues, a huge calendar of activities and events for local residents, and an extensive directory of local organisations and resources which can offer support, advice, opportunities to get out and about, and much more besides.

The site includes a section specifically for local carers. They are keen to ensure that the information in this section and across the site is relevant, useful, up-to-date and easy for carers to find – to this end they would like to bring together a small group of carers from across the 3 councils to help them review the information and find ways in which they might improve it.

They have booked the computer area at Hammersmith Library (near Hammersmith tube station) from 12.30pm to 2.30pm on 23 June. Places are limited so please make sure you contact them in advance, and don’t just turn up!

If you would be interested in being part of this group, or have any other comments about People First, please contact at peoplefirst@rbkc.gov.uk  – they look forward to hearing from you!
