The Council is committed to providing a range of services that best meet the needs of people with dementia who live in Hammersmith and Fulham.

They want to develop services to help residents most in need to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. They also want to give people more choice and control over the services they receive.

In line with this, they are currently undertaking a review of their day services, including St Vincent’s Day Centre.

If you care for someone living in the borough who suffers from dementia they’d like to invite you to attend a focus group to hear your views. In particular, they would like to know:

  • What works well and what you would want to keep from the current day services?
  • What changes would you like to see and how could we make them happen?
  • What do you think the day services should look like in the future?
  • What do you think a good day service or resource should enable those people who use it to do?:

The focus group will be held:

When:   30 September 2015

Where:  St Vincent’s Centre 49 Queen Caroline Street, Hammersmith, London, W6 9Qh

When:    Wednesday 30 September 2015 at 2.30pm to 4pm.

If you would like to attend or would like more information, please contact Maxine Powell, Admiral Nurse on 020 8483 2525

If you are unable to attend but would like to participate, you can email your views, comments or questions to: lcavanagh1@westminster.gov.uk

Please note the deadline for responses is Friday 2 October 2015
