Our Chief Executive Sarah Mitchell is now back after spending her summer holiday walking 190 miles from one side of England to the other, to raise money for Carers Network.  The walk took Sarah over some of the toughest and most beautiful terrain in England from St Bees on the Cumbrian coast, through the Lake District, over the dales and moors of God’s Own Country (Yorkshire), finishing at Robin Hood’s Bay.

And it was all for a good cause – So far Sarah has raised a whopping £950!! -for Carers Network.  You can still sponsor Sarah by donating to Carers Network, and by getting your friends, family and colleagues to do the same:

Carers Network is a small charity and so, unlike giving to many of the larger charities, even £10 really does make a difference  to the people we work with. £100 allows us to rent a room for support group meetings for a month and if we are able to raise £200 we can run a daytrip to the seaside for carers. Every penny counts!

We’ve set up a Carers Network Givey account to make it easy to sponsor us. All you need to do is donate through our page, either using PayPal or a card, here.

Thanks for your support!  And well done for what you have raised so far Sarah.
