Brian Jones
Interim Chief Executive
Brian joined Carers Network in July 2022. He brings with him more than 20 years’ experience in senior leadership roles, both Executive and Non-Executive. He has extensive experience of strategic and operational transformation and corporate governance.
Previously, Brian has held a number of senior management positions in the healthcare industry, most recently as Chief Executive.
Brian is a non-executive director of The Health Products Regulatory Authority, Ireland and a member of its Audit Committee. He is also non-executive director of Quays Housing and a trustee of a national charity.

The operations team ensures the smooth-running of Carers Network. They can answer your appointment enquiries. As a new carer, they will be the first members of the team you may meet.

Nadia Taylor – Chair
Nadia lives in Hammersmith and is a full-time carer for her parents, one of whom has a severe visual impairment and physical mobility difficulties and the other suffers from a myeloproliferative disorder and other conditions. Nadia graduated with a degree in Politics, French, German and International Relations, and has over seven years’ experience as a paralegal having worked as a licensing contracts manager within the legal department of a brand management company. She currently serves as an elected governor representative on the Children and Education Policy and Accountability Committee for Hammersmith & Fulham Council. Nadia is also the Chair of Healthwatch in Hammersmith and Fulham.
Charles Adeniran
Charles is a long-time resident of the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, and he was a full-time carer for his late mother who had dementia. He has real life experience of the issues faced by most carers: dealing with adult social care, the NHS, and care agencies. Charles has more than a decade’s worth of experience in the IT and telecommunications industry.
Siobhan Duffy
Siobhan joined UK Government Investments in 2021, part of the UK Treasury. Siobhan spent over 25 years working in debt capital markets structuring and advising European corporates on debt issuance.

Sarah has extensive experience of over 15 years in many areas of law and is currently the General Counsel at the Schoen Clinic UK Group
Professor Mary Larkin
Mary is Professor of Care, Carers and Caring at the Faculty of Wellbeing, Education & Language Studies at the School of Health, Wellbeing & Social Care at The Open University
David Walden Lewis
David is former Managing Director of Capita and an IT specialist by background. He has previously worked for the UK Government in developing IT solutions.
Genevieve Peattie
Genevieve is a Westminster Council Officer in the Communities Department. She is Communities Manager - Voluntary and Community Sector Investments, Contracts and Grants.
Theresa Thomas
Theresa is a carer and is the Chair of the Hammersmith & Fulham Carers Forum.
Jen Nel – Treasurer
Jen is a commercially focused, strategic CFO and Non-Executive Director, with twenty years' experience across professional services and industry. Her strengths are in finance, strategy, due diligence and advisory across the health, government, manufacturing, financial services and retail sectors. Jen is Group Finance Director of Schoen Clinic UK, a specialist Orthopaedic and Mental Health provide. Before joining Schoen Clinic, she was CFO at Healthshare, a clinically led community-based Healthcare provider. Jen has also held leadership roles at KPMG Transaction Services and Healthcare Advisory. She is a chartered accountant originally from Cape Town and a keen triathlete.
